How comforting is a spaghetti ball?
Everyone loves meatballs. I always have this recipe for meatballs (cooked but without sauce) in my freezer. Hyper convenience store, one tired night, you garrotte some dumplings in a pan and add your favorite sauce and TADAM!!! Dinner is ready 😃
I really like this recipe served over cauliflower puree too!!! It sounds strange at first glance but it's very good!
2 ½ to 3 lbs of ground beef
2 tablespoons of "Italian" mix
2 eggs, beaten
Bunch of chopped fresh parsley
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 cups breadcrumbs of your choice
Salt and Pepper
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Your favorite tomato sauce to taste
Place all ingredients in a large bowl, mix well and shape into balls.
Cook in the pan, browning all sides. Add the sauce of your choice and simmer for about 15 minutes over low heat.
If you want to keep a supply in your freezer for future use, cook the meatballs completely in the pan or oven without adding the sauce. Just reheat them and add the sauce of your choice.
