I recently learned (thanks mom!) That you can make your own chocolate, and that it's super-simple!
I am sharing my mom's secret recipe with you, but don't tell her LOL!
Here is the recipe for making 70% chocolate.
The important thing is that you need to slowly heat the mixture and don't get it too hot. A good trick? Just dip your finger. It shouldn't burn.
You can choose powdered sugar (not keto) or erythritol / monk fruit (keto). If you choose the latter, pass it in the coffee grinder to reduce it to a very very fine powder. Since it does not melt when heated, it tends not to disolve.
If you try with stevia, let me know how that goes!
- 35g of cocoa butter (found in natural health stores)
- 35g of cocoa
- 30 g caster's sugar or VERY finely ground sweetener
- 2 pinches of fleur de sel
- 1/4 of c. tea Spicy Organic Seasoning The Tasty
In a double boiler, melt the cocoa butter. Add the spices and leave to infuse for a few minutes. Add the cocoa, sugar / sweetener and salt.
I got these little molds in my Christmas stocking for my chocolates and fat bomb so I had fun, but you can just pour your chocolate on a parchment paper on a cookie sheet. When it is frozen, simply break it into small pieces.
Most important? Bring some to the office, you will most definately make new friends!
