A recipe that is all the rage as an aperitif, and let's not be afraid of words, which is completely naughty ...
I am not a fan of frying, but this recipe conquered my heart and especially those of my boys !!!
It is done quickly and with few ingredients, and that we like A LOT :-)
1 cup powdered pork rinds (I pass pork rinds in the robot to make a fairly fine breadcrumbs)
1 cup of almond flour
Obviously it is possible to take breadcrumbs bought in grocery stores and add our BBQ mixture
1 good large tablespoon of Les Savoureux's "BBQ" mixture
1 lbs of fat for frying (I use the Tenderflake)
2 beaten eggs
Cold cheese curds - this detail is important enough so that the cheese does not melt
That's all !!!! Wonderful!!!
In a bowl, mix the powdered pork rinds, the almond flour and the BBQ mixture, set aside
In another bowl, beat the two eggs together, set aside.
In a saucepan, add the fat and allow to melt and heat.
Tip to check if your oil is hot enough, add a pinch of the breadcrumb mixture and if "bubbles" around the breadcrumbs, it is a sign that the oil is hot enough.
Pass the cheese grains in the egg and then pass them in the breadcrumbs. Bake until the "crust" is golden brown and crisp. About 1 to 2 minutes.
TADAM !!!!! Taste !!!
Serve with spicy mayonnaise !!!!
For a faster version, coat the cheese curds with the BBQ spice mixture and place the grains in the pan. It will become very crisp :-)
