A good homemade granola is a go-anywhere!
For lunch, as a snack, to decorate a dessert and give it crunch!
Here is my tasty dessert spice granola recipe.
1 cup of almonds
1 cup of walnuts
1 cup of pecans
1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
2/3 cup of ground flax seeds
1 cup unsweetened grated coconut (optional)
2 tbsp. teaspoon of dessert spice mix
1/2 cup almond butter or natural peanut butter
1/3 cup of water
3 tbsp. sugar of your choice
1/2 tsp. salt
In a food processor (or with a knife), roughly chop the nuts.
In a bowl. mix all the ingredients together and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Press the mixture well so as to have 3 "big biscuits".
Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes at 325.
After this time, flip the "large cookies" (it may break a bit, that's okay !!), and bake for another 15-20 minutes.
Let cool and break into pieces with your fingers.
