Want to eat a poutine while choosing quality ingredients?
You can make your own sauce without breaking your head!
1- Melt in a saucepan 4 to 5 tablespoons of fat (butter or bacon fat)
2- Add 2 tablespoons dLes Savoureux BBQ Seasoning
3- In the seasoned melted fat, cook a medium onion, diced, over low heat for about 10 minutes. (It shouldn't turn brown.)
4- Add 2 cups chicken broth
5- Simmer gently for 5 to 10 minutes.
6- Pour the broth into a blender. Mix until you have a smooth consistency.
7- Add 1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum and mix again. The broth will thicken.
You can fry turnips and celeriac cut into sticks, it will be infinitely delicious!
You can also add bacon grains already cooked when serving poutine 🤤
PS: The sauce also goes very well with chicken or delicious BBQ wings!
