Here is our recipe for pickled onions!
Wonderful to accompany your meats or to spik your favorite salads 🤤
You can decide to cane them so that they keep "Tablet", or simply put them in the fridge to save time 😎
1- Sterilize your pots
2- Cut the onions into thin slices (It's even better with Spanish onions) and place them in the sterile jars
3- Make your broth
- 1 L of white vinegar
- 1 L of water
- 2 tsp. tablespoonLes Savoureux Organic Marinade Seasoning
- 1 1/2 tsp. coarse salt
- Bring to a boil then remove from the heat
4- Cover your onions, leaving at least a big cm of play between the end of the broth and the top of the pot (there must be air)
5- Put your cutlery on the pots. Don't squeeze. Air must be able to exit to seal.
6- Boil your pots for 20 minutes in boiling water. Then remove them from the water. You can only tighten your covers once they have made "POP!"
*** You can also simply avoid the sterilization steps and simply leave them in the fridge and consume them within 3 weeks 😀
